Nestled in the charming Pigadia of Karpathos, the Olympic Hotel was a delightful surprise during our one-night stay. Upon arrival, we were warmly greeted by the friendly staff, who effortlessly arranged for our parking right by the entrance, making the check-in process smooth and welcoming. Our room was surprisingly spacious and well-equipped, boasting a lovely balcony that offered serene views-a perfect spot for unwinding after our ferry journey. The hotel's location is ideal; it's just a short stroll to the main beach and the vibrant town centre filled with picturesque tavernas and shops that beckon exploration. My favorite moment was lounging by the sparkling outdoor pool, where we enjoyed refreshing drinks and light snacks from the poolside bar. The gentle breeze from the hilltop made the warm afternoon sun feel just right. For nature enthusiasts like myself, the nearby ancient temple of Poseidon is an easy visit, promising a touch of history alongside the breathtaking scenery. In the end, Olympic Hotel provided great value for a comfortable, relaxing retreat-an essential foundation for a memorable trip to Karpathos.
